ENERGY SPECIALIST – DEMAND RESPONSE/DATA ANALYST (NJ) Contract
This position is a contractor position in a large NJ based Utility. The Demand Response Program includes the installation of demand reducing devices on residential and small commercial and industrial customers. These devices may be activated during periods of high demand to provide load relief.
Primary responsibilities will include supporting Utility associates and management of contractors installing control devices. Provide analysis and reporting of performance indicators such as number of installed Control Points, internal and external cost metrics, variance analysis and other productivity related analysis and reports. Support call center issues and maintenance of key program process manuals. Perform and manage quality inspection of installed control devices.
The ideal candidate needs to be very computer knowledgeable and a have basic understanding of utility based Demand Response programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel and Word applications. Understanding of Utility based Demand Response programs. Minimum 3-5 years of data analysis experience and accounting systems such as SAP. Self-motivated individual able to work and function independently. Creative thinking, solutions oriented; strong customer focus, interaction communication and organization skills. Ability to travel intrastate as needed up to 25% of the time and work off hours. This position will require a valid driver’s license.
